Friends of Bossard Library
About the Friends....
The FOL is a group of volunteers dedicated to helping make the library the best it can be. Since the 1980's the FOL have conducted many fundraising activities to benefit the library, as well as helping to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs. The popular FOL book and media sales, along with fundraisers, help to raise and donate funds to the library each year.
Friends of the Library provide for the library and community in a variety of ways:
- Support & encourage library programs & services that are in need for our community
- Funding for library programs and concerts
- Summer Reading Programs
- Refreshments, prizes, and gifts for library functions
- Equipment such as display units, book carts, and more
- Volunteers and support for the book sale throughout the year
- Assistance during library levy campaigns
