Through a joint venture with select public libraries in southeastern Ohio, Bossard Library offers patrons the opportunity to enjoy complete digital editions of a variety of popular magazines through the Zinio program. Patrons are able to download full color magazines with interactive elements such as audio and video.
Zinio allows the patron to read magazines anytime or anywhere, once downloaded on either a PC or Mac or on a mobile device. Apps are even available for iPad, iPhone , Blackberry Playbook Android , and Kindle Fire .
Over 35 subscriptions to current magazines are offered for download including, but not limited to: ESPN, National Geographic Interactive, Newsweek, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Us Weekly, Seventeen, Thrasher Skateboard Magazine, Rolling Stone, Runner’s World, Comics and Gaming Magazine, Chickadee, Food Network Magazine, Prevention, and Taste of Home.
Best of all, there are no holds and no overdue fines on these downloads.
